Reports To: Sr. Director, Growth Marketing

Location: Boise, Idaho

The Marketplace Alliance Marketing Manager will play a key role in achieving Kount’s growth objectives by driving go-to-market activities for the alliance with technology ecosystem partners globally. The Alliance Manager will be responsible for managing the overall business and technology partnership with ecosystem partners and driving technology integration and joint initiatives to grow Kount business as a result of the marketplace integration(s) and partnership(s).

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Build, grow, and execute demand in B2B marketplaces (e.g. Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, BigCommerce, ForgeRock, etc) 
  • Develop overall data driven go-to-market plans and priority list for marketplace partners based on relative marketshare and commercial opportunities 
  • Own and manage the partnership, strategy, and ecosystem at the corporate level and support the commercial teams to ensure a healthy and successful mutually beneficial partnership 
  • For each B2B marketplace, develop a global strategy encompassing overall vision of the collaboration, joint innovation opportunities, and business objectives with clear goals and an execution plan 
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and alliance partner to generate demand for Kount’s products 
  • Collaborate with Direct Sales team in developing an alliance partner ecosystem robust enough to meet business growth goals 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for the solutions developed with the alliance partners 
  • Create and manage product certification programs where applicable 
  • As the SME, support sales and marketing teams with the creation of partner-focused content, sales enablement materials, and competitive positioning 
  • Plan and execute the participation in partner-focused events/tradeshows, channel offers/promotions, joint sales, trial/pilot programs, and use of demos to generate awareness 
  • Develop and implement metrics to measure the success of the partnership 
  • Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with key players in the alliance partner ecosystem 
  • Act as a face of the company at trade shows and other key industry events 
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes 

Qualifications: 

  • 4+ years experience in Sales, Marketing, and/or Channel and Alliance partnership management 
  • 3+ years of experience building and growing demand and GTM initiatives in B2B marketplaces 
  • Experience in ecommerce, payments, security, risk and/or fraud is a plus but not required 
  • Excellent and demonstrated oral and written communication skills 
  • Demonstrated success under pressure, while managing multiple projects and deadlines 
  • Strong sense of urgency, adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness 
  • Social ease and a strong and demonstrated ability to build relationships with a variety of different people and personality types 
  • Positive attitude and an outgoing personality with a high standard of decorum 
  • Professional appearance and the ability to exhibit a professional demeanor over the phone, through email, and in person 
  • Must possess exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and research skills 
  • Able to make independent choices and recommendations without immediate direction or supervision 
  • Ability to travel and participate in trade shows and customer meetings as needed
