Small businesses that haven’t yet invested in developing an online presence for e-commerce can now get into the game with the help of Moneris. Through a partnership with Bookmark, Moneris is now offering an end-to-end e-commerce solution that handles everything from website creation to secure payments.
Bookmark Your Life Inc. has worked with the payments provider to create Moneris Online, which is designed to help Canadian small businesses digitize their stores while also providing safe and secure payment acceptance options.
Small businesses can use Bookmark’s Artificial Intelligence Design Assistant (AiDA) to build a personalized, fully functional website in minutes. Moneris Checkout and fraud protection tools like Moneris Kount and 3-D Secure are integrated into the shopping cart to enable quick and secure payments.
“In today’s economy, helping small businesses start with an online store or taking their business online is critical to their livelihood,” says Patrick Diab, Chief Product Officer, Moneris. “Our ability to provide merchants with an ecommerce package that they can easily and quickly put to use is a testament to our commitment to help Canadian small businesses succeed.”
In January, Moneris announced its investment in, and partnership with, Bookmark to deliver online business solutions. Moneris Online is the first major integration between the two companies.
“It is exciting for us as a Canadian small business to be an integral part of Moneris Online, which focuses on supporting other small businesses,” explains David Kosmayer, Founder and CEO of Bookmark. “By offering an all-in-one solution that includes everything a small business owner needs to go online, it takes a lot of the complexity and stress out of the equation and lets them focus on what’s important, running their business.”
Moneris Online costs $39.95 per month and a per-transaction fee starting at 2.75% + $0.30 for businesses processing less than $50,000 per month (businesses processing greater than $50,000 per month will be charged 2.60% + $0.20 per transaction.)
